The Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is St. Sebastian’s top giving priority because it directly supports the School’s greatest assets—our teachers and our students.

Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a St. Sebastian’s education—and it never has. Like all other independent schools, we rely on the generosity of parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents and friends to help close the gap between operating income and expenses.

On average the Annual Fund provides over 13% of the School’s operating budget and touches almost every aspect of a St. Sebastian’s education. Without the Annual Fund, the St. Sebastian’s experience would be a very different one.

Here are some ways your gift to the Annual Fund makes a difference:

• Maintaining an average class size of 10 
• Financial Assistance provided to 30% of students 
• Faculty professional development and degree advancement 
• Supporting athletic teams and the arts 
• Technological initiatives and enhancements 
• Building maintenance 

Your participation in the Annual Fund is an investment in St. Sebastian’s future. 

Our fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30.
