Chapel
The Chapel is at the heart of the prayer life of St. Sebastian's School.
Corporate Chapel
Every Monday morning, the entire School community gathers in the Church for Corporate Chapel. Here, we come together to pray, sing, listen to the Scriptures, hear members of the Senior Class deliver their Chapel Speeches, and receive from the Head of School words of encouragement and inspiration.
Class Chapel
During the other days of the week, each grade level gathers in the Chapel for its own Class Chapel. Again, students hear the Scriptures (offered by student readers), and pray in both word and song. Students also offer petitions, and each day, two or three boys deliver a Chapel Speech. This speech, reviewed by and rehearsed with a faculty moderator is on a topic about which the student feels passionate.
