Art Projects
Memory Project
Students in all grades paint portraits of young people from developing countries that are delivered to the students. Countries that students have created art for include Haiti, Malaysia, and Peru.
Avita Memory Care Art Initiatives
Students in grades 10 and 11 travel to local memory care residential facilities one time each quarter. Students lead workshops with the residents in music, art, and theatre.
Community Projects
Father Bill’s Food Pantry
Students prepare and deliver sandwiches to Father Bill’s food pantry. Father Bill serves families in need throughout the South Shore.
Partnership with San Miguel
Service opportunities include backpack packing, Homecoming, Christmas Book Drive, Annual field day in July.
Pope John Paul II Field Days
St. Sebastian’s hosts field days for students from grades 5 through 8 during the second week in June.
Immersion Projects
During March break, Immersion Projects have also taken place. In past years, students have traveled to Haiti and New Orleans, as well as participating in an Urban Immersion in Boston.
