ISL Championships: 1978, 1996, 2007, 2017, and 2018
The St. Sebastian’s baseball program fields five teams: 7th, 8th, 9th, Junior Varsity, and Varsity. Cuts are only made at the varsity level, so every student-athlete will have the opportunity to compete. Each team has multiple coaches who also teach and coach another sport at Seb’s. After all academic obligations are complete, our players practice and play games on one of our two artificial turf fields (new in 2019).
Our program focuses on developing grit, character, and baseball IQ. All Arrows learn to respect the game, the umpires, and our opponents. We practice fundamentals daily and emphasize a deep understanding of situational baseball. Through drill work, video analysis, frequent live scrimmages, and a schedule against many of the most competitive programs in New England, we provide a baseball experience that prepares players for college baseball. We aim to cultivate competitive, selfless teammates and strongly encourage our student-athletes to play multiple sports throughout the year. Many of our players go on to play baseball or another sport at the next level.
