Lacrosse Players Participate in Feed Haiti Packathon

Lacrosse Players Participate in Feed Haiti Packathon

On Friday, April 28, the JV and freshmen lacrosse teams participated in a Feed Haiti Packathon to benefit those dealing with food insecurity in Haiti. The players assembled packets of rice, beans, and vitamins to be shipped to Milot, Haiti to help the neediest people in this remote, northern region of the country. CRUDEM, the organization running the event, oversees Hôpital Sacré Coeur, the largest private hospital in Milot.

As a result of the teams' efforts, combined with the work of the parishioners of St. Joseph's Parish in Needham, 150,000 meals were prepared from Friday to Saturday that will be shipped to Haiti this week.

Special thanks to Danny Gillis '24 and his family for involving St. Sebastian's in this great project. Thank you as well to Coaches Moore, Reihman, Adkins and McNamara. Great job, Arrows!
