The Slings and Arrows Players Perform in Winter Play

The Slings and Arrows Players Perform in Winter Play
St. Sebastian's drama club, The Slings and Arrows Players, presented its winter show, "A Rock and a Hard Place," in Ward Hall this past weekend, February 16 and 17.

"A Rock and a Hard Place" was co-written by Nick Howell '18 and Will Forman '18, and directed by AJ Santosuosso '18. The comedy follows a private detective named Jay Raymond, played by Anthony Perez '19, and his dimwitted sidekick John De Putz, played by Cole Tremblay '19. The duo set off to solve a murder mystery, crossing paths with a number of strange suspects. The well-written show was very funny and the actors did a superb job bringing their characters to life!

Before the show, "Baby," a short comedy directed by Marty White '18, showcased St. Sebastian's young actors in the 7th and 8th grade and hilariously told the story of one newborn's first year with his family.

The students excelled under the guidance of faculty members Mark Rogers and Michael Petro '13. "A Rock and a Hard Place" will be performed at the Massachusetts High School Drama Festival.

The Slings and Arrows Players would like to thank all the students, parents, and faculty who have supported the drama club this year. Congratulations to the cast and crew of both shows for a job well done!
