A Fun Night at Semi-Formal

A Fun Night at Semi-Formal

On Friday, April 22, St. Sebastian's held its spring semi-formal for 9th and 10th graders in Ward Hall. Students selected “beach” as the theme and enjoyed an evening of dancing with their dates. The Jazz Band, led by music teacher Karl Grohmann, performed a complete set of songs, including “Nine to Five” and “Our House”. Chef Fuller provided a delicious spread, including chocolate fondue and root beer floats. Older students decorated Ward Hall for the sophomores and freshmen, hanging parrots, suns, and fish from the ceilings and placing cutout treasure chests around the room. Juniors Kellen Donovan, William Hansen, Harrison Nash, and Alexander Roth dressed as lifeguards to serve food and to get the dancing started. A fun night was had by all in attendance!
