The 23rd Annual Travis Roy Cup

The Arrows faced off against Tabor Academy on Saturday, January 12, for the annual Travis Roy Cup. The Travis Roy Cup is played every year to honor Travis (a 1995 Tabor Academy graduate) and his contributions to prep school hockey, as well as to raise money for the Travis Roy Foundation, which is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with spinal cord injuries and their families.

The Seawolves got on the board first by scoring two goals, but St. Sebastian's responded by tying up the contest. Tabor pulled forward again with another two goals, and although the Arrows got one back, their late game push was not enough, and after a couple of empty net goals, Tabor won the Travis Roy Cup 6-3. The event has been a success both in terms of the support for the Foundation and the level of competition displayed by both teams. To date, the Travis Roy Cup has raised more than $110,000 for the Foundation.
