The St. Sebastian's Senior Class congregated in Ward Hall this morning, February 26, for the annual "100 Days to Graduation" Breakfast, celebrating the milestone with a delicious meal prepared by the dining staff.
Fr. Paris delivered an opening prayer and then the students filled their plates with eggs, bacon, waffles, and other breakfast treats. Led by their class president, Will Hentschel '19, the seniors wished Fr. Paris a happy birthday and offered him a standing ovation.
During breakfast, the students were addressed by Director of Leadership Gifts Mike Melley P'18,'22 and Director of Alumni Programs Chris Brinkhaus '92. Melley explained to the students the concept of the Class Agent and told them about the many alumni events St. Sebastian's offers. He ended by stressing the importance of the bonds the students have formed during their time at St. Sebastian's. Brinkhaus introduced the seniors to Arrows Connect, the St. Sebastian's community networking platform. Headmaster Burke offered closing remarks to the Class of 2019 and told them that this could be the best 100 days of their entire St. Sebastian's experience if they choose to make it so!
The Class of 2019 selected Class Agents, who will assist with coordinating class events for years to come, and received a t-shirt marking the milestone, which they were able to wear for the remainder of the school day.
