Arrows Participate in Harvard Model Congress

On Thursday, February 21, a group of St. Sebastian's students traveled to the Boston Sheraton for Harvard Model Congress. Founded in 1986, Harvard Model Congress is the nation's largest and oldest government simulation for high school students. Each St. Sebastian's student was assigned to represent a member of Congress or another federal office. Over the course of three days, students create, debate, and pass bills regarding relevant topics. This year, Jeff Serowik '20 and Joseph Maalouf '19 received gavels for best delegate in their committees, while Aidan Garrity '20 and Patrick McDonald '20 received Honorable Mention awards. Congratulations to our entire delegation and thanks to the faculty chaperones.
