Our newest Arrows in the 7th and 8th grades had a wonderful chance to get to know each other and learn more about being a student at St. Sebastian's during orientation. The various events, which took place over two days, helped to integrate the new students into the community and get them ready for the first day of school.
On September 4, students and parents enjoyed a lunch together with members of the faculty and administration following a morning of tours and orientation sessions. A few members of the senior class were also present to address questions the new boys had about clubs, sports, academics, and life at St. Sebastian's.
On September 5, the 7th graders ventured into the woods at Hale Reservation in Westwood. They split into groups and participated in team building activities. The new 8th graders were joined by the rest of the 8th grade class on a trip to George's Island in Boston Harbor. The boys had fun exploring the island together.
We are excited to welcome these new students to St. Sebastian's!
