On Sunday, February 14, 2021, St. Sebastian's hosted our Annual Parliamentary Extemporaneous Invitational Debate Tournament for students in both the Novice and Advanced Divisions.
Eight Arrow Debaters competed in the Tournament: Gianluca Centola '24, Jack Daly '23 Brendan Fulham '24 and James Joyce '24 in the Novice Division and Charlie DeMatteo '22, Jack Flynn '22, Michael Kalinichenko '23 and Maxwell Surprenant '22 in the Advanced Division.
Congratulations to Jack Flynn '22 who won a Speaker's Prize for his outstanding individual performance in the Advanced Division.
Congratulations as well to Gianluca Centola '24 and James Joyce '24 who won a Team Prize for placing 3rd out of 24 teams in the Novice Division, and to James Joyce '24 who also won an Individual Speaking Prize for placing 3rd out of 48 speakers in the Novice Division.
