Senior Arrows Serve Our Communities

Senior Arrows Serve Our Communities

On Tuesday, November 12, members of the senior class went to three different sites for a day of service. Students traveled to My Brother's Keeper in Stoughton, Catholic Charities Yawkey Center and Food Pantry in Dorchester, and Avita Memory Care in Needham.

Students at My Brother's Keeper delivered food and furniture to families who are transitioning into new housing in Brockton. The crew at Catholic Charities helped prepare Catholic Charities to serve Thanksgiving Meals that will be served to over 500 families. Seniors who helped at Avita enjoyed conversing with residents while creating some meditative neurographic art compositions with the residents of Avita.

Thanks to faculty members Dan Burke and George Morelli for leading the trip to My Brother's Keeper, Carla Callini, Jim Rest, and Tricia White for spearheading the project at Catholic Charities, and gratitude to Deirdre Rynne Annan for planning and executing the art workshop for the residents of Avita.
