On Thursday, October 7, St. Sebastian's welcomed prospective students and parents to our On-Campus and Virtual Open Houses.
On-Campus, there was a great turnout of Arrows who volunteered as ambassadors of the School. Students led over two-hundred families on tours of the campus, where they learned about the School's facilities, curriculum, fine arts, and athletics. Along the way, they connected with faculty members and current students who spoke about the School and answered questions. Prospective families also spoke with students and faculty who represented our many clubs and teams during the activities fair in the gym.
A formal presentation followed under the tents, during which Fr. John Arens, Headmaster Bill Burke, and Director of Admissions and Financial Aid Greg Wishart welcomed the visiting families. Students Quinn Mulvey '26, and Andrew Hahm '22 also spoke, each sharing the personal, academic, and spiritual growth they've experienced while at St. Sebastian's.
Attendees of the Virtual Open House enjoyed a welcome and information session from Assistant Director of Admissions Ryan Moore as well as remarks from Headmaster Burke. Seniors Jack Flynn and Jayden Grier represented the student body via Zoom by answering questions and sharing their St. Sebastian’s experiences.
Thank you to all the students, faculty, and staff who helped showcase St. Sebastian's at the Open House, giving prospective families a better sense of our mission and our community.
