Men’s Association Volunteers at High Spirit Community Farm

This past Sunday, members of the St. Sebastian’s Men’s Association, led by President Rick Sutphin P’26, joined a group of Arrows for a meaningful day of service at High Spirit Community Farm in Great Barrington, MA. High Spirit is a life-sharing residential community and working farm where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live and work in an environment rooted in purpose, respect, and belonging.

St Sebastian’s Class of 2026 students—John Cronin, Ty Curry, Finn Daley, and Trey Sutphin—were accompanied by Mr. Paul Keady and Mr. Sutphin as they spent the day assisting with seasonal work around the farm. Together, they removed and relocated outdated fencing, demolished an old chicken coop, and helped construct new raised garden beds—all in preparation for a productive spring growing season.

We are deeply grateful to Bob and Ginny Swain, co-founders of High Spirit Community Farm, and Rick Sutphin P’26 for their vision and leadership in creating this opportunity. We look forward to growing this partnership between St. Sebastian’s and the High Spirit community as we work together in service, inclusion, and fellowship.
