The Leadership Society Reception was held on Thursday, September 26, 2019, in Ward Hall. The event brought over 150 current parents, parents of alumni, and alumni to honor and celebrate the tremendous generosity and support of our Leadership donors.
Fr. John Arens started the program with a prayer and was followed by last year's Annual Fund Chair, Tim Connelly P'17,'19. As a past parent, Mr. Connelly spoke eloquently on how those who give are not only investing in the students and faculty of today, but also in the future and success of every young Arrow as he makes his way through college and finds his place in the work force. Board President Jim Elcock P'77, P'08 spoke about the campus improvements that have taken place in a relatively short period of time, while simultaneously increasing our endowment. Both of these efforts, coupled with a new record in annual fund giving, have played a huge role in the continual transformation and evolution of the magnificent institution that St. Sebastian's is today. Headmaster Burke thanked those in attendance for their leadership, closing with his familiar quote "We can't give what we don't have, and what we have, we have from you. You make your School an ever stronger, ever better place, and we love you for it. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
Thank you to everyone for supporting St. Sebastian's School!
