Jayden Struble ’20 Selected by Canadiens in NHL Draft

The National Hockey League recently held their Entry Draft in Vancouver and Jayden Struble ’20 became the 26th Arrow skater in our school's history to be chosen. Struble, a Northeastern commit coming off a dominant season for the Arrows - with 10 goals and 30 assists in 28 games - was chosen with the 46th overall selection by the Montreal Canadiens. The All New England, All ISL Keller defenseman from Cumberland, RI, was the first prep school player taken in the draft. U.S  Hockey Report which closely follows New England Prep School Hockey had named Struble their Prep Player of the Year as well as their Prep Defenseman of the Year. Struble also garnered well deserved recognition when he dominated the fitness testing of the top 100 prospects put on by the National Hockey League weeks before the draft. He was one of 44 players selected for the summer camp for the United States World Juniors team, which will take place July 27-August 3 and involves games against Finland, Sweden and Canada. Congratulations, Jayden!
