Guild Virtually Celebrates the End of the Year

St. Sebastian's mothers gathered virtually on the evening of May 12 to celebrate our amazing community at the Guild of St. Irene's annual Closing Event & Fashion Show. The fun and light-hearted event, held via Zoom, provided a great opportunity to thank this year's Guild President, Cathy Daniel P'15,'18,'20, for all her hard work over the course of the year and to hand over the reins to incoming President Laurel Mullen P'19,'21. During the event, those mothers whose youngest Arrows will be graduating this year were honored with their St. Sebastian’s necklace. Over 40 senior moms, dressed in their St. Seb's swag, sashayed down their home “runway” with special appearances from their senior boys. It truly will be a spirited way for the Class of 2020 to be remembered!  View recording of the Fashion Show

As part of participating in the event, St. Sebastian's mothers were invited to purchase Shaw's gift cards for the San Miguel School. St. Sebastian's has enjoyed a wonderful partnership with San Miguel, a Lasallian middle school for boys, located in Providence, RI, whose mission is to "break the cycle of poverty through education." These gift cards will help families in the San Miguel community who are struggling to put food on the table during the pandemic.
