Fourth Annual Arrows Connect Career Night

Fourth Annual Arrows Connect Career Night

On Monday, January 6, the Alumni Board hosted its 4th annual Arrows Connect Career Night via Zoom.  Alumni from the Classes of 2016-2024 were invited to gain insight and guidance from 4 recent alumni panelists representing a range of professional interests.  This year’s panel included representatives from Finance/Investments, Law, Commercial Real Estate, and Neurotechnology.  Alex Cook ’91, Chair of the Alumni Board’s Professional Networking Committee, moderated the event which included commentary from each panelist and an extended Q&A session with the alumni in attendance.  Dean Ebozue ’10 shared his journey from Boston College to a wholesaler at Putnam Investments to earning his MBA at Columbia Business School and his current role as an equity analyst at T. Rowe Price Investment Management.  After earning his undergraduate degree at Harvard, Sean Frazzette ’12 earned his JD at the University of Chicago Law School, clerked for Judge Steven Seeger on the US District Court for Northern Illinois and Judge Stanley Marcus on the U.S. Court of Appels for the Eleventh Circuit, and is now the Assistant Public Defender at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender.  John O’Leary ’14 graduated from Harvard and is now Senior Manager on the Construction and Development team at Rhino Capital Advisors, a Boston-based commercial real estate firm.  Andrew Spencer ’10 graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.E. in Chemical Engineering and received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University.  Following stints at a medical device startup in Paris, and a semiconductor fab, Andrew is now the Product Development Manager at Axoft, Inc., a neurotechnology startup spun out from Harvard University in 2021. Axoft is developing the next generation of brain probes and implantable hardware to build brain-computer interfaces, which are devices that interrogate brain tissue and record signal that can be translated into action, such as controlling a computer, generating speech or moving artificial limbs.

Thank you to all of our alumni panelists for following the “Order of the Day” and “taking good care of one another.” Sharing your experience with your fellow Arrows was invaluable!
