On Tuesday, February 25, the Class of 2025 congregated in Ward Hall for the annual “100 Days to Graduation” breakfast celebrating the milestone with a delicious meal prepared by the dining staff. Matt Willey, Dean of Students, briefly spoke to the seniors before Mike Melley, Director of Alumni & Development, addressed them. Mike described the different alumni events the office hosts throughout the year, as well as the importance of keeping St. Sebastian’s and the school’s mission in mind after graduation. Further, Mike explained the role of a Class Agent, which keeps the class connected and informs them about alumni events throughout the year and invited the seniors to vote on their Class Agents. Mike Nerbonne, Assistant Head of School, then offered a prayer and the students enjoyed their meal. At the end of breakfast, Jonathan Demosthene ’24 spoke about his time as a freshman at Harvard and offered advice to the seniors. He focused on four key guiding points: stay organized, put yourself out there, find your crowd and passion, and time management and decision making. Brendan Sullivan, Head of School, addressed the students and told him that these remaining 100 days are not about counting down the days, but making the days count. Finally, the seniors received a t-shirt marking the day's milestone with the words "Once In, Never Out, Arrows Forever" written on the back, which they were able to wear for the remainder of the school day.
