Arrows Visit Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Arrows Visit Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

On Wednesday, May 8, students visited the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Mrs. Gardner was an avid collector of art and left her Venetian style home to showcase the collection permanently. The site of the largest art heist in the world, students were able to see the empty frames of some of the 13 works stolen. The tour concluded with a look at contemporary artist Raqib Shaw's exhibit of elaborate and imaginative jewel encrusted works. Mrs. Jaleh Barrett GP'25,'27,'29 toured students along with Mrs. Deirdre Rynne Annan, Mr. Michael Deschenes P'28, and Mr. Jim Joyce P'24,'27,'29. All students and grades are invited to join on seasonally run museum trips led by Mrs. Deirdre Rynne Annan.
