On Tuesday, February 11, Gabriela Wells and Stacy Karabetsos from The Second Step presented to the junior class to help educate students about teen dating violence. The Second Step, a non-profit that works with survivors of domestic violence, led an interactive seminar . Our students learned about defining abuse, how to identify unhealthy dating signs, and how to assist someone you know in need. The Second Step also provided resources to students and staff on how to learn more about dating violence and how to access support. Following the program, our students participated in a Q&A session.
