Arrows Display Artistic Talent at Spring Revue

Arrows Display Artistic Talent at Spring Revue

The Fine Arts Department held the annual Spring Revue on Thursday, May 9. Held in The Burke Family Center, the event provided our artists, actors, and musicians an opportunity to showcase their talents for parents, peers, faculty, and friends.

In the Martin Hall rotunda, attendees were able to view student photography, ceramics, sculptures, and more.

Performing arts were highlighted in the theater. The Slings & Arrows Players presented three skits. The first titled "Playground Injuries" featured Patrick Dunn '28, Benjamin Corbett '25, and Ben Deschenes '28. The second skit, titled “Who’s on First,” featured Joe Ryan '28 and Anthony Marcucci '27. The third skit, "The Restoration," was written and directed by Benjamin Corbett '25 and Patrick Dunn '28 and featured Noah Wagner '28, Finn Govender '28, Benjamin Corbett '25, and Patrick Dunn '28. Additionally, Deven Carkner '24 wrote and performed a poem entitled “My Name is Dad.”

The Chamber Ensemble performed two pieces, including "Cinema Paradiso" and "Brandenburg Concerto." Musicians included Caleb Casiano '29, Rohan Ghatge '28, and Luke Hiles '27 on the violin, and Finn Govender '28 on the piano. The Jazz Pop Ensemble performed a number of songs, including "Friday I’m in Love," "Country Road," "Born to Run," and "Mr. Brightside." The talented St. Sebastian's musicians in the Jazz Pop Ensemble included: Deven Carkner '24, Ryan Connolly '27, Gianluca Centola '24, Henry duBose '24, Robert Ferguson '28, Brendan Flemming '29, Rohan Ghatge '28, Benjamin Goffredo '24, John Joyce '27, Joseph Ko '26, Rowan Koppenheffer '27, Charlie Lans '29, Dylan Lipof '24, Jay Lui '27, Andrew MacDougall '27, Perry Rassiger '24, Derron St. Marie '24, John Sullivan '27, and Akul Trikha '27.
