Anthony Marcucci ’27 Receives an Award from the Vergilian Society

Anthony Marcucci ’27 has received a Magna Cum Laude award from the Vergilian Society for his performance on the annual Vergil Translation Contest. Only five students nationwide received such recognition.

On the exam, Anthony translated a passage from Book XII of The Aeneid and answered accompanying questions. Anthony’s performance represented the style of work accomplished well throughout the year in Latin IV Advanced Placement. Congratulations, Anthony!
