2022 Cape Cod Reception

We were delighted to have nearly 100 members of the St. Sebastian’s community join us at the home of Kathleen & Rob Ix on Scraggy Neck in Cataumet on Friday, July 22, for our Annual Cape Cod Reception. The reception was a wonderful mid-summer opportunity for alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends to gather and socialize.

Headmaster Burke spoke in detail about our admissions program and college matriculation for the Class of 2022. He also updated the audience on all the on-campus projects going on this summer, including: the new HVAC system being installed in the Academic building; the Henry T. Lane Rink restoration project, that will significantly enhance our players and fans experience; and the Oratory project, an outdoor worship space that was primarily funded at the Guild’s Christmas Auction in December 2021. The worship space will feature a marble statue of Blessed Mother and will always be available to anyone who wants to stop by campus. Lastly, Headmaster Burke spoke of the many bonds the St. Sebastian’s community shares, in good times and bad.

Many thanks to Kathleen and Rob Ix P’22 for graciously hosting us at their beautiful seaside home.
