Welcoming Our New Faculty and Staff

As we launch a new school year, we’re thrilled to welcome new faculty and staff who bring talent, experience, and energy to our community.

Alex Dawson

Alex joins the Communications Department as the Visual Media Coordinator. With a B.A. in Photographic Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma, Alex’s experience includes working in academic, church, and athletic settings. He looks forward to using his photography and videography skills to tell the story of St. Sebastian’s. 

Ron Fletcher

Ron joins the English Department and will teach 9th and 11th grade English courses. He holds a B.A. in Literature and Creative Writing from Skidmore College and an M.A. in Literature from Boston College. Ron brings more than 30 years of experience teaching English at Boston College High School.

Mike Kraemer

Mike joins the Math Department and will teach a variety of mathematics courses, including AP Calculus. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross, an M.A.T. in Mathematics from Bridgewater State University, and a Master of Mathematics for Educators from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Mike brings more than 30 years of teaching experience at Medfield High School.

Danny O’Regan ’12

Danny joins the Advancement Office as the Director of Alumni Engagement, working with the alumni team to support alumni relations and engagement. A 2012 graduate of St. Sebastian’s, Danny was a Division I hockey player at Boston University, where he earned his B.A. in Communications. He went on to spend more than a decade playing professional hockey in the NHL, AHL, and international leagues. He brings a strong foundation in leadership and relationship-building and looks forward to reconnecting with the St. Sebastian’s community.

Jimmy Ryan ’16

Jimmy joins the Math Department and will teach Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Education from the Alliance for Catholic Education at Notre Dame. Most recently, Jimmy worked as an associate engineer in Tennessee and previously taught at Archbishop Shaw High School in Louisiana. A 2016 graduate of St. Sebastian’s, Jimmy is also the son of longtime St. Sebastian’s faculty and staff members John and Jean Ryan.

Danielle Shahied P’28

Danielle joins the Advancement Office as the Director of Advancement Operations. With extensive experience in operations, project management, and event leadership, Danielle brings a strong background in working with independent schools and nonprofit organizations. She earned her B.A. in Marketing & Communications and English Writing from Fairfield University. She looks forward to supporting the systems and processes that help drive the Advancement Office’s fundraising efforts.
