Twelve Arrows Recognized as National Scholars

Head of School Brendan Sullivan and Assistant Head of School Michael Nerbonne announced that twelve St. Sebastian's students have been recognized by the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program.

The Commended Students include Demetrios P. Catrickes '27, Rohit Dabas '27, William T. Finnegan '27, Aiden E. Mack '27, John B. McRoskey '27, Constantine N. Mitrokostas '27, Akul Trikha '27, John E. Usechek '27, and Maxwell E. Weber '27. Students named as Commended Students are recognized for their exceptional academic promise, placing among the top 3% of those who entered the 2027 competition by taking the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) last fall.

Three seniors, Rowan G. Koppenheffer '27, John F. Lynch '27, and Anthony T. Marcucci '27, have been named as Semifinalists in the National Merit Competition and will go on to compete as Finalists. Their performance places them in the top just over 1% of those who tested nationally.

To all the recognized seniors, congratulations on your tremendous academic achievement!
