The Guild of St. Irene Ends the Year in Style

Mothers from across the grades gathered in the Arrows Wrestling Room for a great night out to celebrate the Guild of St. Irene Closing Event & Fashion Show on Thursday, May 14. It was wonderful to have incoming moms join us as well — a great opportunity to introduce them to the St. Sebastian’s Family.

During the cocktail hour, guests had a chance to shop and mingle. Several area vendors, including St. Sebastian’s mothers, were part of the event. While attendees enjoyed dinner, senior moms modeled the latest fashion trends courtesy of Fox’s and Sassy Boutique.

Wendy Thurmond P’25,’28 received a warm and enthusiastic thank you for her tireless work with the Guild this year. She officially passed the torch to next year’s President, Marie Carroll P’25,’28,’30 and Vice President Sarah Williams P’26,’28. Wendy also acknowledged the collective impact of the many moms who supported Guild efforts throughout the year, from the Christmas Auction and other events to appreciation breakfasts, First Monday Rosary, service projects, and more.

Special thanks to the Fashion Show Chairs — Tania Diaz P’27 and Amy MacDougall P’27 — who organized a fantastic night of fashion, fun, and festivities.
