St. Sebastian’s Dedicates Frisoli Field

St. Sebastian’s Dedicates Frisoli Field

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, St. Sebastian’s School formally dedicated Frisoli Field in a celebratory ceremony honoring Mike and Kerry Frisoli and their sons—Jack ’17, Will ’19, Sam ’21, Ben ’22, and Tedy ’26—for their extraordinary leadership, generosity, and long-standing commitment to the school community. The event brought together current and past parents, alumni, students, faculty, coaches, and trustees to recognize a family whose presence has been deeply woven into the fabric of the school since the oldest of the five Frisoli boys became an Arrow in 2011.

Board President Devin Condron opened the program, welcoming those gathered and recognizing the Frisoli family’s deep connection to the school, including the example set by all five brothers as student-athletes and team captains. Fr. Chris Boyle followed with the blessing and opening prayer, dedicating the field as a place of formation as much as competition, where boys grow into men through discipline, brotherhood, and shared purpose, and where the Frisoli family’s example continues to inspire generosity and service.

Assistant Head of School Mike Nerbonne reflected on the culture of brotherhood at the heart of St. Sebastian’s, citing Romans 12:10—“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves”—and connecting it to the humility, loyalty, and leadership consistently modeled by the Frisoli brothers during their years as Arrows. Headmaster Emeritus Bill Burke then offered personal reflections on the family’s lasting imprint, describing Mike and Kerry Frisoli as models of faith and quiet leadership, and noting the authenticity of their long-standing commitment to the school’s mission.

Speaking on behalf of his brothers, Jack Frisoli ’17 reflected on the shared significance of the field, saying, “This field is one of the few places that all five of us can point to as a defining influence on our lives.” He added that the dedication reflected not only their experiences as players, but the example set by Mike and Kerry in raising them and supporting their journey through St. Sebastian’s.

Mike Frisoli expressed gratitude for St. Sebastian’s, noting, “Our sons have shed blood, sweat, and tears on this field with their teammates and coaches, and we’ve loved every minute of it.” He described Frisoli Field as a second home for their family and thanked the faculty, coaches, and community for shaping their sons’ character and supporting their experience, emphasizing a shared commitment to forming young men of character, faith, and service.

Head of School Brendan Sullivan closed the ceremony by reflecting on the family’s lasting impact on the St. Sebastian’s family. He highlighted Mike Frisoli’s enduring question—“What can I do? How can I help take Seb’s forward?”—and recognized both Mike’s service and Kerry’s steady presence and care across the community. Sullivan noted the many ways the family has strengthened the school through both visible leadership and quiet generosity.

Frisoli Field now stands as a lasting tribute to a family whose influence extends far beyond athletics—shaping friendships, strengthening community, and reflecting the values of St. Sebastian’s.
