Leadership Society Reception Celebrates St. Sebastian’s Donors

Leadership Society Reception Celebrates St. Sebastian’s Donors

The annual Leadership Society Reception was held on Thursday, September 25. Over 175 parents, alumni, parents of alumni and grandparents gathered in The Burke Family Center’s competition gym to celebrate and recognize the tremendous generosity of our Leadership donors.

The evening began with a prayer and reflections from Fr. Chris Boyle who shared his admiration for the students and their genuine care for one another. He was followed by Board President Devin Condron ’92, P’29,’29,’31 who thanked the community for its incredible generosity and commitment to the School, having raised over 4.6 million in annual giving. He reflected on three words that define St. Sebastian’s today: mission, modernize and momentum. Devin shared, “In a world that is always changing, our mission never wavers: to form young men of faith and character.” He emphasized the Board’s focus on modernizing the School while building on the great momentum we are experiencing.

Head of School Brendan Sullivan welcomed everyone and shared his extreme gratitude to all our donors and everyone who makes St. Sebastian’s so special. The theme this year is Mission, and what’s transpiring in our chapel is “mission critical.” Mr. Sullivan highlighted the beautiful transition of Fr. Chris Boyle and Lauren Warner, Music Ministry, and encouraged everyone to attend morning mass in person or via livestream. Mr. Sullivan also thanked Devin Condron for his extraordinary leadership of the Board of Trustees and his deft management of its devoted members, who selflessly give their time and resources to the School. Our unique mission has been the foundation of the School for decades and “the incremental steps from our Board have led to the monumental progress” we are experiencing today.

The evening was a moving reminder of St. Sebastian’s enduring mission and the generosity that sustains it. Thank you to all who continue to support St. Sebastian’s School!
