Latin Club Experiences Success in Competitions

The Latin Club held its annual Certamen Night on Thursday, April 9. Latin Club members formed teams to compete in Certamen, a game testing their knowledge of literature, grammar, history, mythology, and culture. Certamen Night helps St. Sebastian's Latin students prepare to compete in Upper Division (Latin III-V) and Lower Division (Latin I-II) Certamen at Holy Cross' Classics Day. The winning teams were:

These winners then attended Classics Day at Holy Cross with other Latin Club members on Thursday, April 16. St. Sebastian’s Latin students had a very successful day as they earned two trophies, including 1st place in the Art Contest and 2nd place in Lower Division Certamen.
