Arrows Compete in Robotics Qualifying Tournament

Members of the St. Sebastian’s School FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics Teams traveled to Revere High School on Saturday, December 20, to compete in a FIRST Robotics Massachusetts Qualifying tournament against 16 other teams from the area.

Team 133 finished the qualifying rounds in 6th place with a 3 – 2 record, teamed up with Team 25708 from Hyde Park for the playoff round, and ultimately lost in the semifinals. In addition to their competitive success, the Arrows were presented with the Design Award for their complicated, multi-stage intake-outtake process!

Team 19556 finished with a 1 – 4 record, working through a multitude of challenges throughout the day but competing hard in all five matches.

Both teams are looking forward to their next competition in February.
