This past Saturday, September 19, marked the opening day of the Miracle League.
Eighteen Arrows volunteered, along with Mr. Rest and alumni Pat McGowan ’15 and Nnamdi Okwerekwu ’16. This marked the 14th year St. Sebastian's has been part of the Miracle League, bringing the joy of baseball to young athletes with disabilities. Opening day saw a home run that sailed over the monster and spectacular plays in the field from the athletes of the Miracle League.
Students who participated included:
Tyler Hehir, Graham Svajian, Elliot Mays, Rome Furmonavicius, Graham Zakian, James Marcucci, Finn Wishart, Jack Freyermuth, Reed Carroll, Rex Hurstack, Will Owens, Jason Dorma, Ray Rush, Michael Camarano, Ryan Cullen, Austin Lee, Ben Reed, and Thomas Marcucci
We're already looking forward to October 10th, the next time the Arrows visit the Miracle League.
