St. Sebastian's School - Academic Rigor | Spiritual DepthThe order of the day is to love God, work hard, and take good care of one another. William L. Burke iii, Headmaster

Welcome Parents

“The faculty of St. Sebastian’s are privileged to be in sacred partnership with our parents – focused on the same goal: Inspiring our young men to become all that God wants them to be in body, mind, and soul.”

William L. Burke III

Through the pages contained in this section of the website, and through the password-protected intranet, we hope to keep you informed of all activities and events which happen throughout the year. Without your support, many of these events would not be possible. Therefore, we encourage your participation. Notices for the St. Sebastian’s Community can be found on the home page under News and in this section under Parent News.

If, throughout the year, you have a change in your email, phone, or address information, please update your profile through the website or by contacting the main office. In addition, parents are encouraged to sign-up via the intranet site to receive daily announcements, which give the day-to-day happenings at the School.

Getting Involved

The Guild of St. Irene is comprised of mothers of current students who work to support St. Sebastian's School in a number of ways. Members continue to find spiritual, cultural, and social benefits from the many activities while at the same time making an economic contribution to the School through a variety of fundraising efforts. All mothers are invited and welcome to participate. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month.

The Men's Association is a strong network of fathers of students. The purpose of the Association is simple: to help plan and support non-academic events designed to promote School spirit, allow for time with their sons, and to generate funds earmarked for the direct benefit of the students. To this end, the Association continues to work closely with the School's Administration and the Guild of St. Irene to lend valuable support to many of the School's events such as Homecoming, the Boston Business Breakfast, and the annual Golf Outing.

The Career Advisory Network’s (CAN) purpose is to offer our young alumni (1-10 years out of St. Sebastian's) access to our alumni and parents who are willing to share their experiences of their profession, graduate school education, or insight into the business world. The School can best help our graduates succeed in their professional careers through opportunities like this. St. Sebastian's is a relatively small "family" of alumni and parents, yet there are a variety of careers in the Network. Many alumni and parents have volunteered to serve as Career Advisors to the young alumni of St. Sebastian's. The careers of the Advisors have been separated into categories to narrow down the specific choices for the recent graduates. More information on becoming a member of this network can be found on the School's intranet site.
