AP Biology
This college-level course focuses on a series of key biological concepts including biochemical transformations in the cell, biomolecular structure and function, classic and molecular genetics, basic botany and zoology, mammalian anatomy and physiology, evolution and population biology. For those students taking the course in their junior year, it is an excellent preparation for the SAT II Biology Exam. Previous or concurrent study of chemistry is required. All students are prepared for and are required to take the AP Biology exam in May.
