Spanish II
In this course, students refine the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills acquired in Spanish I through the continued study of everyday topics, such as sports, clothing and foods, accompanied by related grammatical structures. Oral expression improves as students continue to develop linguistically, learning and using new and practical vocabulary. Listening improves as more Spanish is spoken by both the teacher and the students. Reading ability increases as texts become more complex. Written expression advances as compositions become more demanding and frequent. The presentation of cultural aspects of the Spanish-speaking world is an integral part of the curriculum.
