AP Art History
In this elective course for juniors and seniors, various political, social, gender, class, economic and religious conditions affecting the relationships of artists to their culture are explored. Students study and review the period from the Paleolithic Age to the present in order to better understand the consciousness and creativity of culture and the critical impact of art. Students are prepared for and are required to take the AP Art History exam in May.
